Akashi mudra

This mudra is done while practicing ujjayi, and shambhavi and khechari murdras.

Sit in a comfortable meditative position. Place the tongue in khechari mudra and start ujjayi with shambhavi mudra.

At the same time, look up so the head is about 45 degrees, straighten and lock out the arms, and press the knees with the hands.

Breathe with ujjayi, and continue for as long as is comfortable.

To finish the practice, bend the elbows, release khechari and shambhavi mudras.

Bring the head back to its normal upright position, and return to normal breathing.

Repeat the cycle. Start with 1-3 rounds.
